Hardcode Store Terms of Service

Effective Date: 25 September 2026 | Last Updated: 25 September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hardcode Store, an application marketplace operated by Hardcode Group ("Hardcode Group", "Hardcode Store", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Hardcode Store, including its website, Android application, developer portal, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. About Hardcode Store

Hardcode Store is a digital application marketplace that allows users to discover, obtain, download, and use Android applications. The platform may also allow approved developers and organizations to submit and distribute applications through the marketplace.

Hardcode Store may contain applications developed by:

  • Hardcode Group;
  • Independent developers;
  • Organizations;
  • Other approved publishers.

Third-party applications are supplied by their respective developers and are subject to the terms, licenses, and privacy policies applicable to those applications.

2. Eligibility

You may use Hardcode Store only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you. Certain features may have additional age or eligibility requirements. If you create an account on behalf of an organization, company, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of that entity.

3. Hardcode Store Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information;
  • Maintaining the security of your account;
  • Keeping your login credentials confidential;
  • Updating inaccurate account information;
  • All activity performed through your account.

You must not:

  • Share your password with unauthorized persons;
  • Impersonate another person or organization;
  • Create accounts for fraudulent purposes;
  • Use another person's account without authorization;
  • Attempt to circumvent account restrictions.

Notify Hardcode Group promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Application Downloads

Hardcode Store may provide applications in APK or other supported formats. Before downloading or installing an application, you should review:

  • Application description, developer information, and version details;
  • Permissions, privacy information, reviews, and ratings.

You are responsible for deciding whether to download or install an application on your device. Applications may require specific Android versions, hardware capabilities, permissions, or network resources.

5. Third-Party Applications

Third-party applications are controlled by their respective developers. Hardcode Store provides the marketplace and distribution infrastructure but does not necessarily develop, own, or control every application listed on the platform.

Third-party developers are responsible for their applications, functionality, content, licenses, privacy practices, user support, legal compliance, and updates.

6. Application Licenses

Downloading an application does not necessarily transfer ownership of the application to you. Unless otherwise stated, an application is provided under a license granted by its developer.

You must not:

  • Reverse engineer an application where prohibited by law;
  • Remove copyright or ownership notices;
  • Redistribute, modify, or republish an application without authorization;
  • Circumvent licensing mechanisms or use an application for unlawful purposes.
7. Developer Accounts

Developers wishing to publish applications must create and maintain a developer account, provide accurate information, and possess the legal rights necessary to distribute submitted applications.

Developers must not submit applications containing malware, unannounced tracking code, infringing IP, deceptive functionality, or unlawful content.

8. Application Submission and Review

Hardcode Store may review submitted applications before publication, including technical validation, metadata inspection, permission analysis, security checks, and policy reviews. Approval does not constitute a guarantee that an application is completely secure or error-free.

9. Application Updates

Developers may publish updates to fix bugs, add features, or update security. Hardcode Store provides update notification functionality. Users are responsible for deciding whether to install available updates.

10. Application Security

Hardcode Group takes reasonable security measures to protect the marketplace. However, users should exercise reasonable caution and keep device operating systems updated.

11. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Hardcode Store to:

  1. Commit fraud or distribute malware/spyware;
  2. Conduct unauthorized attacks against computer systems;
  3. Circumvent security controls or abuse APIs;
  4. Manipulate downloads, ratings, or reviews;
  5. Impersonate Hardcode Group or another developer;
  6. Upload stolen or unauthorized software;
  7. Interfere with marketplace infrastructure or violate applicable law.
12. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews must be relevant, honest, and based on genuine experience. Users must not buy/sell reviews, artificially manipulate ratings, or submit deceptive content. Hardcode Group may moderate or remove violating reviews.

13. User Content

By submitting User Content (reviews, comments, descriptions), you grant Hardcode Group a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and format that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Services.

14. Intellectual Property

The Hardcode Store platform, software, design, logos, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. "Hardcode", "Hardcode Group", and "Hardcode Store" are marks of Hardcode Group. Third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.

15. Payments and Purchases

Prices for paid applications will be displayed before purchase. Payments are processed via approved third-party payment providers.

16. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the applicable Hardcode Store Refund Policy and mandatory statutory laws.

17. Developer Revenue

Eligible developers receive revenue according to the Developer Distribution Agreement, less platform fees, gateway charges, refunds, taxes, and fraud adjustments.

18. Service Availability & Modification

While we aim for high availability, Services may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons. We reserve the right to modify or update the Services.

19. External Services

Integration with external hosting, payment, or analytics providers is subject to those third parties' terms and policies.

20. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Notice.

21. Security & Responsible Disclosure

We encourage ethical researchers to report vulnerabilities directly to security@hardcodegroup.com without disrupting services or modifying private data.

22. Account Suspension & Termination

Hardcode Group may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or create security risks.

23. Effect of Termination

Upon termination, account access and developer listings may cease. Provisions that by their nature survive termination will remain in effect.

24. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Hardcode Store is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of uninterrupted operation or defect-free software.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hardcode Group will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services.

26. Indemnification

You agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your violation of these Terms or unlawful platform activity.

27. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

28. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable laws governing Hardcode Group operations. Disputes shall be resolved informally where possible before seeking formal proceedings.

29. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision is found invalid, remaining clauses continue in effect. These Terms, along with incorporated policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hardcode Group.
